Zante

Zante

Also known as the island of Kakynthos, Zante offers visitors plenty to do while enjoying their holiday. There are many stunning beaches here, including Laganas, Tsilivi and Kalamaki – all ideal for spending time with your family, topping up your tan and swimming in azure waters. Lively beach bars and tavernas are welcoming to guests, and the island boasts delicious cuisine such as Melitzanosalata and Gyros. Zante has recently become a hotspot for lovers of diving, with many enthusiasts joining reef-searching classes that are organised by the many diving schools on the island. Walkers are catered for too with multiple signposted hiking trails on offer, leading the way to quaint villages, ancient monasteries and Medieval towers.
